Distributor and business partner search in Armenia
Are you looking to sell your products in Armenia and identify an importer, distributor or business partner suited to your offer?
Based in Paris, I help you define which companies to target, assess their suitability and prepare the first commercial steps. The work starts with your products, pricing and delivery capabilities, with a practical objective: deciding which partners to approach and on what basis to begin discussions.

We begin with your priority products, price positioning, delivery capability and target customers. An importer, a distributor and a technical service partner may play different roles. The search criteria must reflect what your business actually needs.
Existing product representation, customer coverage, competing brands and any necessary service capability are assessed where relevant. Technical and regulatory requirements remain subject to review by the appropriate specialists; commercial interest alone does not establish compliance.
What you receive from the assignment
Depending on the agreed scope, deliverables may include:
- An outline of the target segment and the partner profile sought.
- A reasoned shortlist of companies, with available information and points requiring further verification.
- A summary of discussions and expressed interest, where contacting potential partners is included in the assignment.
- An overview of identified obstacles and recommended next steps.
These findings help you decide whether to continue discussions, adapt your offer or postpone the project.
Experience connecting products with business development
My work at COP.COPINE and as co-founder of TOKO’S Paris combines collection development, sales and relationships with international customers. I have also coordinated production in Armenia.
This experience helps me assess the practical conditions for collaboration: product positioning, pricing, production capabilities, lead times and partner expectations. Each assignment nevertheless requires an assessment specific to its sector and objectives.
Define the commercial framework first
Objectives, deliverables, fees and payment terms are agreed before detailed work begins. Sensitive commercial information and introductions are handled within that framework. Existing relationships and exclusions must be identified, and no exclusivity is assumed.
What is the difference between an importer and a distributor?
An importer handles bringing products into the market under the agreed allocation of responsibilities. A distributor organises sales to its customers or through its network. One company may perform both roles.
The search therefore needs to specify the functions required: importing, warehousing, prospecting, sales, installation or after-sales support.
How long does the work take?
Timing depends on the segment, the readiness of your offer and the activities included. A timetable is proposed after reviewing the brief rather than promised in advance.
Do you act as importer or technical service provider?
This service concerns commercial development. Importation, product compliance, installation and after-sales support require separately defined providers and responsibilities.
Does a qualified meeting guarantee sales?
No. Interest, meetings, negotiations and orders are separate milestones. Reporting should make progress clear without presenting one as another.
Let’s discuss your project in Armenia
For an initial conversation, describe your company, the products concerned, the customers you want to reach and your intended timetable. We can then clarify your requirements and define the scope and terms of a potential assignment.
Please also include your role, relevant quantities or capacity, your timetable, existing contacts and your budget for the assignment, if already defined. This helps establish the scope of a potential paid assignment.
